GASTROENTEROLOGY

Bernhardt Laboratories has provided pathology services to Gastroenterologists, most predominantly from 1986 to present as the primary lab for the Jacksonville Surgery Center. During that time Bernhardt Labs has added three other surgery centers. With Bernhardt Labs, you will receive the most thorough and advanced pathological service with the understanding of morphological changes in Gastric and Esophageal Epithelium including Barretts Esophagus with or without dysplasia. Also, we recognize and distinguish between Gastritis and Gastropathy and focus on clinical-pathological correlation geared towards patient management. We process all special stains in-house. Our histology department utilizes Ventana's Immunohistochemistry system that creates unparalleled consistency with these stains..
